Description
From the 1690 collection of Apparatus Musico-Organisticus by Georg Muffat (1653-1704) this wonderful Ciacona, comprising 12 sections building to a fine climax, is taken. From the title of the collection, it was presumably intended for organ but works equally well on harpsichord.
