Description
Johann Christian Bach (1735 – 1782), known as “The London Bach”, first published his “Second Set of Concertos” in 1770. The six concerti were advertised as “Opera VII” and suitable for harpsichord or pianoforte.
This E flat concerto, the fifth of the set, is scored (like the others) for two violins and ‘cello.
