DESCRIPTION:The Eighteenth-century English harpsichord maker Jacob Kirkman 
 produced many fine instruments which were highly sought-after across the w
 orld.\nIn this project\, an original instrument of 1756 is paired with a w
 onderful\, newly-completed copy by Stephen Barber and Huw Saunders.  This
  will be a rare opportunity to hear two similar-sounding richly resonant E
 nglish-style harpsichords playing together.  The repertoire will include:
 \nMozart Sonata In D k.448\nClementi Duett in B flat op.1 no.6\nHandel Sui
 te in C Minor (reconst Dart)\nGemininai (after Corelli) La Follia (arr Doi
 -Luck/Devine)\nSteven and Satoko have worked together on a number of occas
 ions and are no strangers to audiences at Waterdown House.  This concert 
 marks the beginning of a commercial recording project to capture this wond
